chicken BBQ Sauce

Not too sweet, not too spicy, but loaded with flavor. Your chicken will be proud to be served with this sauce.

INGREDIENTS

3 cups tomato puree
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Over medium heat, bring to a gentle boil. Continue cooking for 20-30 minutes, stirring occassionally. When the sauce has thickened up a bit, it's ready. Allow to cool, then refrigerate. Keeps for a week or so...if it lasts that long!
