Crockpot Barbecue Chicken

This easy crockpot barbecue chicken recipe isn't like others you may have tried. Have you ever eating chicken from a crock pot, and had to fight the bones, gristle and skin? Yuk!


This recipe uses boneless, skinless chicken breasts, so there's no bones about it! And with this recipe, the bbq sauce and the chicken cook at the same time.

Crockpot Chicken with BBQ Sauce

6 boneless chicken breasts

BBQ Sauce Ingredients
1-1/4 cups ketchup
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup minced onions
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons brown mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
1 teaspoon celery seeds
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Add all of the bbq sauce ingredients to the crockpot and stir until mixed. Place the chicken breasts in with the sauce. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, gently stirring the sauce a couple of times as it cooks.
