Grilled Salmon Fillet
I'm not sure what I like more about this
grilled salmon fillet recipe, the heat of the spices that season it, or the fact that it's an easy salmon recipe to fix. It's probably a combination of both.
The combination of ingredients sounds a little odd, but when it all goes together on the grill, it comes out tasting great.
Grilled Grainy Mustard Salmon
Use a good German grainy brown mustard, and don't be shy about using it.
INGREDIENTS
-
One 2 to 3 pound fillet of salmon, skinless, pin bones removed
-
3 tablespoons grainy brown mustard
-
1 tablespoon fresh dillweed, chopped
-
2 teaspoons coarse ground black pepper
-
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Combine the mustard, dill, pepper and salt. Spread the mixture onto both sides of the salmon fillet.
Grill over medium heat for 2 minutes per side, then move to the side and finish with indirect heat. Continue grilling the salmon until the flesh flakes. Serve with a little shot of the brown mustard for dipping.
