Teriyaki Pork Chops

For an interesting alternative, teriyaki pork chops are quite the departure from your ordinary grilled pork chops. The teriyaki marinade seasons the meat with bright flavors of pineapple and fresh ginger root.

The hoisin sauce added to this pork chop marinade gives it a richness that helps bring all the flavors together.

Teriyaki Pork Marinade

This recipe makes enough marinade for up to 4 pounds of chops.

INGREDIENTS

Whisk the marinade ingredients together to combine. Marinate the chops for 2 to 4 hours. Larger cuts can be marinated longer.

Preheat your grill to medium high, and cook the marinated chops for a total of 8 to 12 minutes, turning often to prevent burning of the sweet marinade. Shoot for an internal temperature of 145 to 160 degrees for medium rare to medium doneness.
